You can also save how you filled out your name, address, and other info in web forms, which makes filling similar forms in the future quicker and easier. Select Settings and more Settings Profiles Addresses and more. Turn on Save and fill addresses.
In the top corner of the browser window, select Settings and more , or use the keyboard shortcut Alt+F, and select Settings .
Follow these steps to turn on location for the new Microsoft Edge: Go to Start Settings Privacy Location. Turn on Allow access to location on this device. Turn on Allow apps to access your location. Turn on Allow desktop apps to access your location if present.
On most Windows 10 installations, this path resolves to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\Profile. To view the current Profile path, open the About version page (type edge://version). The Profile path follows this format: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default.
Open Microsoft Edges main menu. Click on Settings. Under Advanced settings, click the View Advanced settings button. Scroll down, and in the Autofill settings section, turn on the toggle for Save and fill addresses or Save and fill payment info depending on what type of information you want to autofill.
Find the location of the Preferences file. You can go to edge://version/ and find the Profile path. The Preferences file is under that path.
Edge Browser Settings are stored in the Preferences JSON file. Edge Cache is stored using an Index file (index), a number of Data Block files (data#), and a number of separate data files (f######). Edge Cookies are stored in the Cookies SQLite database, within the cookies table.
You can turn on Sync by clicking on your icon in the top right corner of MS Edge and then clicking on Turn On Sync. Or, click the 3 dots in the top right corner Settings Profiles Sync Turn On Sync. You can choose there what you want to be Synced.
