Open the PDF in Acrobat, and do one of the following: Go to All tools Protect a PDF. From the Protect a PDF toolset in the left pane, select Encrypt with password. Select File Protect Using Password.
Tap on Security Settings or a related option from the menu that pops up. Look for the option to Remove Password within the security settings and click on it. docHub Reader will process your file and remove the password thereafter.
Click File Save. Check the encrypt box enter your password click save.
How to open a password-protected PDF file in Android. Open the docHub Reader app. Navigate to the location of the PDF file on your Android device. Tap the PDF file. You will be prompted to enter the password. Type the password for the PDF and press OK. If the password is correct, the PDF file will open.
How to Password Protect a PDF File Using iScanner the app on your iOS or Android device. Run iScanner and select your file. Next, switch from Link to File and toggle the Set a password switch. Tap the PDF icon, and password fields will appear.
Use these steps to password protect a PDF on an iPhone. Click the blue Select a file button to navigate to the file and upload it. A screen will appear displaying your file and a field for you to type a password. Create a strong and unique password, and then retype it in the second box to confirm.
