This makes them perfect for documents that need to be signed, as a properly formatted PDF is hard to tamper with. If you're on Mac OS and need to sign a PDF, you can use the built-in Preview app to add your signature. First, find and open the PDF you need to sign using the app. Then click on the show marker toolbar icon and select the signature icon. Create and save your signature using your laptop's trackpad, built-in webcam, or an iPhone or iPad for input. If using the trackpad, sign your name with your finger or with a thicker stroke if your Mac has a Force Touch trackpad. Tap any key and click done to finish.
