off unknown apps altogether. Just toggle off the option and you're good to go. Next, let's move on to app permissions. It's important to review the permissions that your apps have. Go to Settings, then Apps, tap on an app, and then Permissions. You can then toggle off any permissions that you don't think the app needs. Moving on to app suggestions. In Settings, tap on Apps, and then App Suggestions. Turn off the Show apps that recommend setting. This will stop apps from suggesting other apps to you. Now, let's talk about app optimization. In Settings, tap on Battery and then App Optimization. Toggle off the apps that you don't want to optimize. This will prevent the system from limiting background activity on those apps. Moving on to auto-updates. In the Google Play Store settings, tap on Auto-update apps. You can choose to either turn off auto-updates altogether or select to update apps over Wi-Fi only. Finally, let's discuss app file access. In Settings, tap on Storage, then tap on Files. Toggle off the option to Allow access to files. This will prevent apps from having access to files on your device. And that's it, those are the eight Android settings to turn off now to protect your privacy and security.
