To edit PDFs on your iPad, first open the PDF and tap the share icon. If the share button does not work, open the PDF in Safari. Find the "Books" option and open it in Books to copy the PDF. In Books, tap the pencil icon to access editing controls on the left-hand side. Choose the type of pen you want to use for highlighting and editing the PDF.

How to create fillable PDF files: Open Acrobat: Click on the Tools tab and select Prepare Form. Select a file or scan a document: Acrobat will automatically analyze your document and add form fields. Add new form fields: Use the top toolbar and adjust the layout using tools in the right pane. Save your fillable PDF:
To save changes to the current file, choose File Save. To save a copy of a PDF, choose File Save As. In Acrobat Reader, choose File Save As or File Save As Other Text.
