If you decide to do it anyway, heres how: Open System Preferences. Press and hold the Command and Option (Alt) keys. Choose Displays. You should now see the Rotation menu. Choose 90˚, 180˚, or 270˚ to rotate the screen.

Whilst holding down the option key click on system settings. Continue holding down the option key and go to displays. In the displays tab towards the bottom you should find the Rotation selection.
In the Document sidebar, click the Document tab at the top. Select a page orientation (portrait or landscape). You can use only one page orientation for your document.
