by default most Word documents are set up to be in portrait mode but say for example I wanted to see more of this image I would have to make it landscape to achieve this you go to your files then into print and where it says portrait orientation set it to landscape you go back to your home tab up here you will now see that your we document is setup in landscape this mainly useful when youre presenting graphs and uh xais of your image is longer than your y- AIS and it wouldnt fit into portrait mode without some major rescaling of the image so yeah I hope this helped
