There are two types of symbol files: Public: A small file that contains a symbol table. For more information, refer to Public symbols. Debug: Contains everything that a public symbol file contains, and full debugging information that you can use for more in-depth debugging.

Unity Symbols are symbols used in Unity Language System for AAC and are the foundation for LAMP Words For Life and CoreScanner.
Select the Downloads tab, and scroll down to the Assets section. Click the upload arrow for the mapping file or the debug symbols as applicable to upload the deobfuscation or symbolication file for the version of your app.
After you upload your app to Google Play, you can also upload a Public or Debugging symbols package (both of them contain the required symbol table). To do this, click the three dots next to the app in the Google Play console and select Uploading native debug symbols (. zip).
