Here is a short guide on how to use Apples summarize tool on your MacBook. Step 1 Go to System Preferences and select Keyboard. Step 2 Navigate to the Shortcuts tab and look for the menu on the left side. Step 3 On your right, you will see a list. Step 4 Look for a checkbox next to Summarize and click on it.
Replace the found text with new text: Select the Replace tickbox next to the Done button, enter the new text in the second field (directly under the search field), then click Replace. To replace all instances of the found text with the new text, click All.
You can use the Find control in code or text windows, such as Output windows and Find Results windows, by selecting Edit Find and Replace or pressing Ctrl+F.
Create text replacements On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar. Click Text Replacements on the right. Click the Add button in the dialog that appears, type the text to replace (such as teh) and its replacement (such as the), then click Add. Click Done.
Open Microsoft Word on your Mac. Click or hover over the Edit tab found in the top toolbar. Click or hover over Find from the dropdown menu. Click Replace or hold shift + command + H on your keyboard.

Open TextEdit: Click on the Finder icon on the dock, select Applications, and then find TextEdit and double-click on it. Create a new document: Click on the File menu and select New or use the keyboard shortcut Command + N. Enter text: Type your text into the document window.
Apply a text replacement to existing text: To use the text replacement in part of a document, select the text, choose Edit Substitutions Show Substitutions, make sure the Text Replacement checkbox is selected, then click Replace in Selection. To use the text replacement in the entire document, click Replace All.
