When it comes to Safari, if you find that the browser is taking up a large amount of storage on your device, its likely due to your browsing history. This applies to both websites and downloaded files.
If you use Safari often, your iPhone may be storing web history and data that you simply do not need. To clear Safaris browser cache, go to Settings Safari and Clear History and Website Data. And if youre a Chrome user, heres how to clear out cache on Googles browser.
Documents Data: Safari Offline Reading List, files stored within installed apps, and app content like contacts, calendars, messages, and emails (and their attachments).
Go to Settings Safari. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
To clear cache and cookies: From the home screen, Select Settings Safari. At the bottom of Safaris settings screen, Select Clear cookies and data or Clear Cookies and Clear Cache. Confirm when prompted.
Select and edit text To select text, do any of the following: Select a word: Double-tap with one finger. Select a paragraph: Triple-tap with one finger. After selecting the text you want to revise, you can type, or tap the selection to see editing options: Cut: Tap Cut or pinch closed with three fingers two times.
Go to Settings Safari Advanced Website Data. Tap Remove All Website Data.
