In this video, we show you how to disable PDF printing by making a document secure. Open Windows Explorer, right-click on the PDF, and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the Printing and Viewing tab and make sure the "allowed printing" checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status, and the document will now have a .pdc extension as a protected PDF file. This file can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer, and printing is disabled in the Safeguard Secure Viewer.
