Get Design Mode in Excel 2010/2013/2016/2019 Ribbon if you do not have Classic Menu for Office Click the File tab; Click the Options at the left to enter into Excel Option window; Click the Customize Ribbon at the left; At the right, select the Main Tabs from Customize The Ribbon drop down box; Check the Developer item;
Then ensure that Design Mode has been enabled. To do this, click Developer Design Mode (in Controls group).
You can go into Design Mode either by clicking the Design Mode button on the toolbar or by selecting Design Mode from the Edit menu.
The Analyze and Design tabs appear under PivotTable Tools on the ribbon. Click the Design tab on the ribbon. The Layout group has options to change which elements appear in your PivotTable. Subtotals: Click to show or hide subtotals, and to specify where to show them.
