The Change Attributes dialog (lower section) is used to set attributes on an element to the same values as are on the dialog. Check the attributes that you wish to modify or change on an element then select the element.
Open the image for which you want to check the metadata. Head to the File menu, then click File info. And you can also press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + I on Windows and Command + Option + Shift + I on Mac. From here, you can copy or edit the metadata.
Type attrib followed the + or - symbol to add or remove an attribute respectively, the letter of the attribute and the name of the file. For example, to remove the hidden attribute from a file called file. txt, type attrib -h file. txt.
Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, youll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.

Change file attributes in Windows 10 Open File Explorer and go to the folder that contains your files. Select the file whose attributes you want to change. On the Home tab of the Ribbon, click on the Properties button. In the next dialog, under Attributes, you can set or remove the Read-only and Hidden attributes.
Using Attribute Changer It works off the right-click option in File Explorer. Locate the image you want to re-date, right-click it, and then in the Context Menu, click Change Attributes to make the changes.
