This tutorial shows how to disable printing in a PDF file. Open Windows Explorer and right-click on the document. Choose "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the Printing and Viewing tab, deselect the allowed printing checkbox. Click "Publish" to confirm protection. The document now has a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, and the Print icon is greyed out. Keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+P are also disabled in the safeguard secure viewer.
