Clear All Formatting Select the text with the formatting you want to clear. Select Home Clear All Formatting. or press Ctrl + Spacebar.
Save a document as a webpage Click File Save As and choose the location where you want to save your document. Name your file. In the Save as type list, choose Web Page, Filtered.
Checking the Recycle Bin If you deleted a Word document without emptying the Recycle Bin, you might be able to restore the document. Double-click the Recycle Bin on the Desktop. Search through the list of documents to see whether the deleted Word document is still there.
Using MS Word built-in save as HTML option Go to the file menu. Select Save as. In the drop-down file type box select, Web Page, Filtered. Click Save.
Follow these steps to recover an a deleted Word document that you didnt save: Open Word and click the File Tab in the upper left. Click Manage Document and select Recover Unsaved Documents. In the dialogue box, look for your missing file.
Questions and answers From the Insert tab, Text section, choose Object. Then choose Text From File. Use the file type selector in the Insert File dialog box, choose All Web Pages to locate the HTML file. A Convert File box will be displayed, choose Other encoding, click OK.
To convert a Word file to HTML using Word2CleanHTML, Open the Word file. Select all using CTRL + A; copy all using CTRL + C. Go to the Word2Clean tool and paste the text using CTRL + V. Click the Convert to Clean HTML button. After the file is converted, click on Copy HTML to Clipboard.
Select the border of the text box that you want to delete, and then press Delete. Note: Make sure the pointer is on the border of the text box and not inside it. If the pointer is inside the box, pressing Delete will delete the text inside the text box, not the box.
These can be found via File, Open and clicking the Recover Unsaved Documents button found at the very bottom of the Recent File List. Open Word and select File, Options. In the Options dialog box select Save from the left hand menu. Note the AutoRecover files location.
Within Microsoft Word, go to File / Manage Document and click on the File tab. Now select Document Management, then Recover Unsaved Documents. In the new window, you will see a list of all unsaved Word documents. Select the documents you are interested in and click Open.
