Click AutoCorrect. A dialog box appears. Select the Autoformat As You Type Tab. Deselect or uncheck the desired options (such as Ordinals with superscript, Hyphens with a dash or Fractions with fraction character).
Go to the Control Panel - Appearance and Personalization - Fonts. This Control Panel item can be opened by running the command: control fonts. Select Font settings in the left pane; In the next window click the Restore default font settings button.
However, you can change the default font and font size for all new workbooks that you create. On the Excel menu, click Preferences. Under Authoring, click General. In the Default font and Font size boxes, select a new font and font size. Click OK. Close and restart Excel.
To resolve this issue: Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Fonts. On the File menu, click Fonts to place a check mark.
This happens when you have activated the Shrink to fit feature of Excel. Just remove the checkmark from the Shrink to fit option and the font will not change anymore.
Click the File tab. Under Excel, click Options. In the General category, under When creating new workbooks, do the following: In the Use this font box, click the font that you want to use.
1) Check the DPI scaling level to make sure the percentage didnt get reduced. 2) Check the screen resolution to make sure its not set to high. 3) Check to see what the text size is currently set to, and increase as needed.
My guess is that you havent succeeded in properly changing the default font. There are several ways; try this one: In the Styles pane (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S), click the Manage Styles button. On the Set Defaults tab, specify the settings that you want.
