Click the File button in the ribbon and then click the Home tab in the menu. Click the Recover Unsaved Presentations button at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the folder where AutoRecover files are stored.
The reset button works by returning the placeholders to their original location and changing the formatting (e.g. fonts, colors, effects) back to what has been assigned in the template.
Now, use the right side of your mouse to click on the file and select the option Undo Delete from the menu. Your presentation will now automatically reappear in the folder from where you deleted it. You can easily recover a PowerPoint file if it accidentally ended up in the recycle bin.
One method is to open Explorer and then navigate where you have saved the document. Here you can right click over the file and then choose Properties. Now, change the tab to Previous Versions and here the files should appear. Then, click Restore.
If you put a file in your trash but decide that you still want it, you can put it back in your Drive. In the upper left, tap Menu. Trash. Next to the file youd like to save, tap More. Restore.
View previous versions of a file Open the file you want to view. Click File Info Version history. Select a version to open it in a separate window. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
