Whenever you create a file on PowerPoint, it is saved as a temporary file. It is mostly located in the path C:\ Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Microsoft. But if Office is installed in another drive, then it might be different.
Go to File Info Manage Document Recover Unsaved Workbooks in Excel, or Recover Unsaved Presentations in PowerPoint.
Open the file you want to view. Go to File Info Version History. Select a version to open it. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
Click the File button in the ribbon and then click the Home tab in the menu. Click the Recover Unsaved Presentations button at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the folder where AutoRecover files are stored.
Restore a deleted slide in your presentation. To restore a deleted slide, click on the History bubble on the right-hand side of the editor to open the version history menu, and click on Deleted slides.
Just click a file to open it. To find your unsaved work after the Document Recovery window closes, click the File tab, then select Open. At the bottom of your Recent Presentations, click Recover Unsaved Presentations to find your unsaved files.
Deleted TMP files that cannot be found in the Windows Recycle Bin or Mac Trash can still be recovered using an effective data recovery program. Just make sure you stop using the drive they were in right away to avoid overwriting the deleted file.
You can open PowerPoint and then go to File - Information - Manage versions - Recover Unsaved Documents and there should appear the file that you missed.
