Steps to revert to a previous version of a Google document on Android: Tap File at the top of the Google Doc. Go to Version History A list of previous versions will appear. Select what you are looking for. The file you chose will now be open. You can see the changes made in the document.
Step 1. Go to File Info, and choose the document that has unsaved changes next to the Manage Document button. Step 2. Click on the Restore button to recover the unsaved file.
If you need to revert to an older version of your file, or if multiple users are working in a file and youd like to compare versions, you can use Version History to view or restore an earlier version of your file. Tap File History. Here, you can compare versions, save a copy of a version, or restore a version.
Restore an earlier document version in Pages on iPhone Save a copy of the version shown in the preview: Tap Save a Copy. Pages opens the copy as a new document for you to edit. Replace the current version with the preview version: Tap Restore. Close the preview and return to the current version: Tap Close. Tap Done.
If youre using Windows with File History enabled, right-click the overwritten file and go to Properties Previous Versions. If available, you can restore an older version from before you saved on computer two. Check if OneDrive or your cloud storage has version history enabled.
Open the file you want to view. Click the title of your file and select Version history. Select a version to open it in a separate window. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
Right-click the file or folder, and then select Restore previous versions. Youll see a list of available previous versions of the file or folder. The list will include files saved on a backup (if youre using Windows Backup to back up your files) as well as restore points, if both types are available.
View previous versions of a file Open the file you want to view. Click the title of your file and select Version history. Select a version to open it in a separate window. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
