In this video tutorial, we learn how to use a handy feature in Windows 10 that allows you to restore previous versions of files and folders. To access this feature, right-click on the file or folder and select properties. Then, navigate to the previous versions tab where you can choose from a list of available previous versions to restore. Simply select the version you want and click on the restore button to replace the current file or folder with the selected previous version. Note that if you don't see any files or folders, or if the restore buttons are not available, this feature may not be accessible.

Select a version to open it in a separate window. Open the file you want to view. Click the title of your file and select Version history. Select a version to open it. If you want to restore the previous version youve opened, select Restore.
Yes, you can. On your desktop, right-click the file. Select Properties from the drop-down menu and choose the Previous Versions tab from the menu. Select the Restore button after clicking on the version you want and click OK.
Locate the document you want to restore previous versions of and click on it to open it. Once the document is open, click on the More button located at the top right corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select Version History. A list of all the previous versions of the document will appear.
Restore Previous Versions (PC) In Windows, if you right-click on a file, and go to Properties, you will see an option titled Previous Versions. This option can help you revert to a version of your file before the overwrite occurred, allowing you to get your data back.
If youre using Windows with File History enabled, right-click the overwritten file and go to Properties Previous Versions. If available, you can restore an older version from before you saved on computer two. Check if OneDrive or your cloud storage has version history enabled.

If you havent saved the file Go to File Info Manage Document Recover Unsaved Documents. Select the file, and then select Open. In the bar at the top of the file, select Save As to save the file.
Right-click the file or folder, and then select Restore previous versions. Youll see a list of available previous versions of the file or folder.
