Open Pages, and if a document is already open, tap Documents in the top-left corner to see all your documents. With the document manager in browse view, tap Select at the top of the screen, then tap the document (a checkmark appears). Tap Versions at the top of the screen. Tap a previous version to select it.
Step 1. Go to File Info, and choose the document that has unsaved changes next to the Manage Document button. Step 2. Click on the Restore button to recover the unsaved file.
View previous versions of Office files Open the file you want to view. Click the title of your file and select Version history. Select a version to open it in a separate window. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
If you have a Time Machine backup from before you updated your Mac to the newer macOS its quite easy to revert to the old versionbut you will lose any new data you have created since the update, so we recommend that you save things like new files and photos to an external drive before you revert using Time Machine.
To access previous version(s) of an existing (undeleted) file navigate to the file using Windows Explorer. right-click on the desired file and select Restore previous versions in the new window, select the appropriate to restore and click Ok.
To recover deleted files from Trash on Mac, click on the Trash icon and choose deleted files or folders, then right-click or control-click on the item. After a drop-down menu appears, click Put Back to restore files.
Restore files using the Previous Versions tool in Windows Open Windows Explorer and open the folder that contained the overwritten file. From anywhere within the folder, right-click and select Properties. Select the Previous Versions tab. Look at the list of versions, each with a date, and look for the version you want.
If youre using Windows with File History enabled, right-click the overwritten file and go to Properties Previous Versions. If available, you can restore an older version from before you saved on computer two. Check if OneDrive or your cloud storage has version history enabled.
