hey guys waiting here from HT type videos today I want to show you how to get your work back if you were working on a project with Google Docs and your paper got erased as long as the file is still there for example just like this this is the paper that got erased you can get it back Im going to show you how to do that so first of all open the document you were working on some of my Google Docs opening it up this was supposed to be my final paper and its gone and nothing is here so what youre gonna do so like you might have tried like ctrl Z which ctrl Z doesnt work if youve I closed the project and reopened it but all hope isnt lost what youre gonna do is go to file and go down to see revision history and in the upper right corner right here this is your revision history and so it shows today excuse me December 2nd which doesnt really help us too much it does kind of help us theres a little bit of the paper right there but if we go down the bottom go to show more details det

Use the Undo feature The best and simplest thing to do is to undo the process if you mistakenly saved over a Word document. You can restore the Word document to an earlier version by pressing Ctrl + Z. There is also an Undo button on the top-left corner of the Word window, which you can use to revert unwanted changes.
Change text alignment Place the insertion point anywhere in the paragraph, document, or table that you want to align. Do one of the following: To align the text left, press Ctrl+L. To align the text right, press Ctrl+R. To center the text, press Ctrl+E.
Checking the Recycle Bin Double-click the Recycle Bin on the Desktop. Search through the list of documents to see whether the deleted Word document is still there. If you find the desired Word file, right-click the file name, and then select Restore to recover the file.

To change that, in any new document right-click the Normal style in the Home ribbon and click Modify. In the Modify style dialog, click the Left alignment button; click the New documents based on this template option; and click OK. That will change the setting in the Normal.
