Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program, created by Robert Gaskins and Dennis Austin at a software company named Forethought, Inc. It was released on April 20, 1987, initially for Macintosh computers only. Microsoft acquired PowerPoint for about $14 million three months after it appeared.
Open the file you want to view. Go to File Info Version History. Select a version to open it. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
If you dont see a History option, click the Info option, then select the Version History option on the right side of the screen. A Version History section opens on the right side of the Office application window. In the section, click the document version you want to open.
