powerpoint 2010 will autosave and keep track of previous versions so while youre working on a file for example I have this set to autosave every 10 minutes Ill have previous versions that I can go back to on top of that you might have some unsaved versions if the if you shut down or if the computer crashed or whatever so to access those just go ahead and click on file and then click on the info tab and then right here youll see the different versions that you have now if you have unsaved versions you can click on that go to the folder and recover those but lets say youre working on a file and as you can see this is here its a 25 here Ive got one at 556 so lets say I want to restore this one or at least access this file I can click on it it opens up another PowerPoint window and this will have the other version I could save it with a different name or I can restore it to the version that I have now but either way you have access to previous versions of the file that youre work
