hyah shake moon where assistant groups are obsolete then I get an engineering college here and number eight so today Im going to discuss about radix 64 conversion actually this radish 64 conversion is used in BGP that is a pretty good privacy and PGP provides a confidentiality and authentication service that can be used for electronic mail and file storage applications as a part of providing the confidentiality email data has to be encrypted and the encrypted data may have some non printable ASCII characters but email systems only permit the use of costly text that means the encrypted email may not how all ASCII characters we need to have a mechanism which converts the non printable ASCII characters into a printable ASCII characters so it is the responsibility of the radix 64 conversion are neurotic 64 conversion functionality is to convert the non printable ASCII characters into printable ASCII characters this technique is used in both PGP and I guess mine this technique Maps the ar

Something better than Base64.
Base64 and Hex are just two different representations of the same value. Base64 uses more characters and therefore the representation is shorter.
Base64 can be use to compromise environments passively, with attackers sniffing network traffic to identify sensitive information including usernames and passwords. Base64 can be used actively to bypass data leakage protection or other data-focused security controls.
For example, BASE64 is representing data using 6 bits (26, hence 64) of characters to represent longer data sequences (the sometimes-appearing == at the end is padding for alignment).
Base64 Encoding Example A Base64 encoder starts by chunking the binary stream into groupings of six characters: 100110 111010 001011 101001. Each of these groupings translates into the numbers 38, 58, 11, and 41.
Although Base64 is a relatively efficient way of encoding binary data it will, on average still increase the file size for more than 25%. This not only increases your bandwidth bill, but also increases the download time.
der and Base64 encoded certificates sometimes have the file extention *. pem, usually in non Windows environment. In some remote access scenarios its not possible to copy binary data (such as files), but you can copy/transfer plain text. Its pretty obvious that Base64 is a better choice in these cases.
Base64-encoded data is always a third larger than the raw binary equivalent because a single byte from the Base64 alphabet can only represent six bits of information.
To base64 encode string you can pipe an echo command into the base64 command-line tool. To ensure no extra, hidden characters are added use the -n flag. Without the -n flag you may capture a hidden characters, like line returns or spaces, which will corrupt your base64 encoding.
There might be some overhead because we often separate the base64 text into lines. Thus the base64 version of a file is at least 4/3 larger than the the original: we use at least 33% more storage than the original file size when encoding a file as base64.
