Click the File button in the ribbon and then click the Home tab in the menu. Click the Recover Unsaved Presentations button at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the folder where AutoRecover files are stored.
To manually open an AutoRecover file: Click the File button in the ribbon and then click the Home tab in the menu. Click the Recover Unsaved Presentations button at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the folder where AutoRecover files are stored.
Click the lower of the two small gray arrows on the ruler at the top of the PowerPoint screen. Drag the arrow to the left. The bullets themselves move backward, but the text backs up only slightly.
Click the Undo button. Press Ctrl + Z.
Restore a deleted slide in your presentation. To restore a deleted slide, click on the History bubble on the right-hand side of the editor to open the version history menu, and click on Deleted slides.
If bullet formatting is applied to the Master, but then over-ridden on the layouts, the formatting will not show on the slides. Or maybe you just have to click on the HomeSlidesReset button to update the slide to the changed master formatting.
The reset button works by returning the placeholders to their original location and changing the formatting (e.g. fonts, colors, effects) back to what has been assigned in the template.
To see the ribbon again, just double-click any ribbon tab, or press CTRL+F1.
