A common question in many of the trainings I teach is: Should I mark the required fields in a form? If most fields in the form are required, should we still mark them? The short answer is: yes. Its best to have such a specification next to every single required field instead of just having a message such as, All fields are required, or All fields are required unless otherwise indicated at the top of the page or no message at all. Most of the time, people dont read small or even large font instructions at the top of a form. When they see a form, they often just jump into filling it. Even when people read such instructions, they might forget the instructions if they happen to be interrupted while they fill out the form. You might think that it will be more efficient to just mark the optional fields, since there are fewer. Unfortunately, to determine that a field is required, people will have to scan the entire form and check for any optional fields. That is not going to happe

Click the Field Properties button. The Field Properties dialog box appears. Click the Additional tab and, in the Size group, enter the desired distance from the left and top borders of the field in the Width or Height fields. (You can also click the up or down arrows for each field to change the size.)
One of the simplest ways to resize an image in the HTML is using the height and width attributes on the img tag. These values specify the height and width of the image element. The values are set in px i.e. CSS pixels.
To do so, open your PDF file in docHub, then click on the Edit PDF tool in the toolbar on the right. When youre in form editing mode, you can make several types of changes to the PDF file. You can edit text, alter a field name, or add new text and fillable fields.
To resize a field using a mouse (See Select a Field.) Click a handle or field border. (When the mouse pointer is on a handle, the pointer changes to a double-arrow, indicating the directions the border can be moved.)
Right click on the field label in the form you want to change the size for and select Configure Styles. Select New to create a new style for that field. In the Style section enter the code width: 500px ! important; (without quotes). Set the width size ing to your preference.
To edit a single form field, double-click it or right-click it and choose Properties. To edit multiple form fields, select the fields that you want to edit, right-click one of the selected fields, and choose Properties.
The simple way to make an input resize freely is to set it to it to have width: 100% , and then place it inside an inline-block container with a min-width ( min-width sets the default width for the input ). Resize the container to resize the input .
To prevent a text field from being resized, you can use the CSS resize property with its none value. After it you can use the height and width properties to define a fixed height and width for your element.
