Compress PDFs in Linux with an online PDF compressor. Navigate to the compress PDF tool. Upload your file. Select the PDF to compress. Download the compressed file to your device.
Acrobat can size the pages of a PDF to fit the selected paper size. Choose the hamburger menu (Windows) or the File menu (macOS) Print. From the Page Scaling pop-up menu, select one of the following options: Fit Scale small pages up and large pages down to fit the paper. Select Print.
To adjust the print size of a PDF, we can use the built-in scaling and cropping features available in various PDF viewers. Usually, the default viewer included in our Linux distribution will be sufficient. These print options are often enough to satisfy our resizing needs without modifying the PDF document.
If you want to change the paper size of your document (for example, print a US Letter-sized PDF on A4 paper), you can change the printing format for the document. Open the print dialog by pressing Ctrl + P . Select the Page Setup tab. Under the Paper column, choose your Paper size from the drop-down list.
Way 2. Step 2: Once you have opened your file, click on the Print icon on the toolbar. Step 3: In the new window, go to the options of Printer, from where you can either select docHub Printer or Microsoft Print to PDF. Step 4: Click on Page Setup on the bottom left and select A4. Then click on OK to proceed.
After your file is open, Go to File Save as Other Reduced Size PDF. Select the Acrobat version that is compatible with the features in your PDF file. To potentially reduce the file size greatly, choose later versions of Acrobat. We generally recommend two versions below the most current.
Using the qpdf Command qpdf is another useful tool for optimizing PDF file sizes on Linux. It provides advanced optimization or compression options to further reduce the size of PDF files.
