Thanks for any help you can give me. Go to Filenewblank file. Crop picture A to 5x7, then copy/paste A to the blank file. Crop picture B to 5x7, then copy/paste B to the blank file. Use the move tool to position A B. You should have 3 layers: Background layer, Layer with A, and Layer with B.
For a 5 x 7 print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum.
A good quality print will require a resolution of 900 x 1260 pixels. For a better-quality print, use 1200 x 1680 pixels. Finally, for the best quality, you should go with 1500 x 2100 pixels. Also, keep in mind the viewing distance.
However, when you actually take photos and print images big, you need to resize them. Doing so will tend to expose problems related to resolution and color. When you print images big, your images become even more impressive, with more vibrant colors and detail being visible, which can work for or against you.

8 Crucial Steps to Prepare Images for Printing #1 Calibrate the monitor. When did you last calibrate your monitor? #2 Save your print file in sRGB or docHub RGB. #3 Save images as 8-bit. #4 Choose the correct dpi. #5 Resize your images. #6 Crop the images. #7 Sharpen the image. #8 Soft proofing.
Set the resolution Choose Image Image Size. Leave width and height set to inches for printing. Deselect Resample to preserve the original number of image pixels. In the Resolution field, set the number of pixels per inch to 300 for printing to a typical desktop inkjet printer. Click OK.
Pro Tip. If youre planning on printing your photos, youll need to know which ratios are required for common print sizes: 6 x 4 = 1.5:1 ratio. 7 x 5 = 1.4:1 ratio.
57 prints are approximately 5 inches by 7 inches (13 x 18cm / 127 x 178 mm). The sizes are written in the format: length by height, so 57 is for portrait (vertical) photos and 57 is for landscape (horizontal) orientation photos.
Professional/online printing For a 4 x 6 print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum. For a 5 x 7 print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum. For an 8 x 10 print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum.
