Use the font-size property to specify the font size of your header tags. For example, if you want to change the size of the H1 to be 20% of the viewport size, youd use: h1 { font-size: 20vh; } In this example, well use CSS to also adjust the size of the H2 header tag, which we want to be a little smaller than H1 tags.
Now, what if we need to change the header? You can change the header margin too. We do the same thing, we double-click the header area, we press Ctrl+A to select everything inside there. And then we drag that right indent marker about an inch from the edge of the page.
The resize property defines if (and how) an element is resizable by the user. Note: The resize property does not apply to inline elements or to block elements where overflow=visible. So, make sure that overflow is set to scroll, auto, or hidden.
Double-click on the header and hit the down arrow. If there are extra lines in the header, below the page number, delete them. Make sure there isnt extra space between your text and the top of the page.
One of the simplest ways to resize an image in the HTML is using the height and width attributes on the img tag. These values specify the height and width of the image element. The values are set in px i.e. CSS pixels.
How to resize an image with CSS Option 1: Resize with the image width attribute. Option 2: Resize with the max-width property. Resize with background-size properties. Add an image to your page. Resize the image. Stretch the image. Other useful resizing settings in Editor X.
OK, so thats likely to be a spacing issue. Right-click in the header Paragraph and check all the indentation and spacing options are set to 0cm/0pt.
Margins are a section property. That means you cant change the left and right margins for the header or footer without also changing them for the body of the document. To work around this behavior, use an indent and aligned tab in the header. You can do so manually or by modifying the Header or Footer style.
This CSS property is used to define how an element is resizable by the user. It doesnt apply on the block or inline elements where overflow is set to visible. So, to control the resizing of an element, we have to set the overflow other than visible like (overflow: hidden or overflow: scroll).
In header/footer edit mode, hover your mouse pointer over the bottom/Top margin of the Header / Footer until it turns into the 2 headed arrow. Then you can click and drag the margin up/down. Finding the trigger point for the pointer to turn into the 2 headed arrow can be tricky.
