good morning today we will speak about some frequent problem we always have when we use footnotes in this example we have a few footnotes here and notice that the footnote separator is very far from the footnote themselves so how to reduce this distance to shrink the size of our paper and file to do that to get rid of this space we need to go to view here then outline then you need to go to references and then click show notes now we can see all our footnotes down here now here we will select footnotes spirit just to see properly make it slightly bigger and youll find here that we have big distance really big distance but just this part of the distance I will delete it so the the distance between the separator and the notes have shrinked a bit but however we still have some distance its still big so I keep the cursor here right-click go to paragraph and in spacing here in spacing here we will reduce this to zero which is the distance after separate we will reduce it to zero okay now
