You can use the Image Fields in the DocHub editor, modify them, and set up .tiff as your preferred file format. When ready, use the Prepare Sign Request button and enter your recipients’ email addresses to send your paperwork.
DocHub enables users to request certain image formats to be attached to a PDF. The upload window displays the supported formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp, .gif, .svg, .tiff, and .webp. Choose a particular format or leave them all marked for more flexibility.
If an Image Field in the received PDF was set as “Required,” it’s impossible to omit picture uploads. If so, you won’t be able to finalize a document until all fields are filled as requested.
Once the requested PDF is filled out and finalized, you can access the enclosed .tiff pictures via the Download or Export modal. To retrieve the content, choose Exclude, Embed, Append, or Bundle in zip.
Assign an Image Field to a particular person in the field settings sidebar by adding the recipient’s email to the Assignee area. This will guarantee that only the assigned recipient can add an image to your PDF.
For example PDF/-A2-compliant PDFs support inserting other PDF/A-compliant files, while PDF/A-3-compliant PDFs can support any file type as an attachment. To attach a file, go to Insert Attach File in PDF. To embed a file, go to Insert Embed File in PDF.

How to merge PDF files online Click the Select files button above, or drag and drop files into the drop zone. Select the files you want to merge using the Acrobat PDF combiner tool. What is an attachment in PDF/A? For some time now, it is possible to attach files to a PDF. You can see whether a PDF contains an attachment or not, by opening the file in PDF reader and to click on the paperclip button. There is for instance the possibility to attach Excel files to a PDF.
