Go to Layout Page Setup Header Footer. Under Header or Footer, on the pop-up menu, select (none).
Double-click the header or the footer area (near the top or bottom of the page). Go to Header Footer Field. In the Field names list, Select Page, and then select OK. To change the numbering format, go to Header Footer Page Number Format Page Numbers.
Copying Headers and Footers Select the first document. Choose the Header and Footer option from the View menu. Use the controls in the dialog box to display the header or footer you want to copy. Select all the elements (text and graphics) in the header or footer. Press Ctrl+C. Select the second document.
If your Word document has multiple pages, the best way to copy a single page is to manually select and copy the text you want. Place your cursor at the beginning of the page you want to copy. Click and drag the cursor to the bottom of the page you want to copy. Press Ctrl + C on your keyboard.
If you open the document and press Ctrl-A, then Alt-P-S-P to open the Page Layout dialogue and choose the Layout tab and either of the Different odd and even or Different first page boxes is checked or shaded, thats probably part of your issue.
Double-click the header or footer area to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections. Select Header or Footer and do one of the following: Choose Remove Header or Remove Footer .
Use the controls in the Navigation group to display the header or footer you want to copy. Select all the elements (text and graphics) in the header or footer. Press Ctrl+C. This copies the header or footer information to the Clipboard.
In the Layout tab, select Repeat header on every page or Repeat footer on every page in the Vertical or Horizontal panes. The Horizontal and Vertical panes refer to the table axes. Click OK in the document.
Create multiple headers or footers in Word Double click the header or footer section in page 2 to enable the header or footer editing mode. Change the header or footer content to your needs and click the Close Header and Footer button. Repeat the above steps to change all header or footer contents as you need.
Repeat table header on subsequent pages In the table, right-click in the row that you want to repeat, and then click Table Properties. In the Table Properties dialog box, on the Row tab, select the Repeat as header row at the top of each page check box. Select OK.
