so in this video im going to show you how to trace a jpeg and make three layers out of it ill show you what im talking about uh lets see this is what im talking about here there was a lady in the group that wanted this um to achieve this and she didnt know how paul actually showed her how to do it with a png file but im going to show you how to do it with the jpeg using the trace feature so the first thing i want to do is go to my trace window and choose my image and its this jpeg right here okay and then um im going to update the preview to see what i have okay so all of this red area inside these flowers is going to trace meaning um its going to need to be weeded out now if you dont want to do that then you can use your mask draw mask foreground and just left click and color over those so that they turn green that means that its not going to trace okay and theres also one other spot right here thats not connected so im going to just go ahead and connect it this little
