thanks so much for joining me today on dynamo bim today on dynamo shorts were going to be finding and replacing elements just like if youre in microsoft word or microsoft excel and you went to find and replace up in the toolbar we are going to do that with our revit data theres a lot of text in revit hopefully its tied to instance parameters or parameters were going to be working with instance parameters that are text values so view names right thats a text value instance parameter associated to views all kinds of elements have instance parameters as we know doors have instance parameters right maybe the comments what have you so were going to be finding values within those parameters replacing them with the value that we specify were doing this in the sample file of course revit 22. lets get started i want to take these view names and essentially find values within them like level or floor and replace them with a different value okay so just like we said in in word or excel
