Andrew Ty introduces his YouTube video tutorial on fixing a common issue with the MacBook Pro mid 2012, indicated by a circle with a line through it on the screen. This means the computer cannot see the hard drive or operating system. He explains that the problem is usually caused by a faulty cable, common in unibody MacBook Pro models from 2008 to mid 2012. He recommends purchasing a replacement cable from Amazon, providing a link in the video description for different model options.
