Navigation Ribbon: In the ribbon at the top of the document, click Edit. At the bottom of the drop-down menu, click Find and Replace. Keyboard Shortcut: You can open the Find and Replace menu using a keyboard shortcut. Press Ctrl + H to open the Find and Replace menu in Google Docs.
On your computer, open a document in Google Docs . Click Edit Find and replace. Next to Find, type the word you want to find. If you want to replace the word, enter the new word next to Replace with.
Using Find and Replace is pretty straightforward. Go to the page you want to find and replace text in, press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + F and enter the text you want to find into the top box. Next, fill in the Replace with field and click Replace or Replace All.
To replace text: Type the text you want to find in the Find field. Type the text you want to replace it with in the Replace with field. Click Next or Prev and then Replace to replace text. If you want to replace all occurrences of the text within the document, click Replace all.
Go to Google Docs in your web browser and open the document in which you want to find and replace text. In Google Docs menu bar, click Edit and then click Find and replace. In the text field to the right of Find, type the word or phrase you want to look for.
Find and Replace in Google Docs Click Edit on the menu bar. Select Find and replace. Press Ctrl + H. Enter a search phrase in the Find field. The search runs automatically, and results are highlighted in the document. Click Next. Click the Close button.
Next to Find, type the word you want to find, If you want to replace the word, enter the new word next to Replace with. To search for the word, click Find. To see the next time the word is used, click Find again.
