In this video, were going to learn how to replace semi-colons with commas in CSV data imports. Data export, CSV files from Salesforce and other sources may sometimes contain semi-colons as a list separator. When you upload files, Salesforce only accepts commas as a default separator for CSV files. To prevent issues during data import, semi-colons should be replaced with commas. Locate a comma separated file and right click on it. Click open with Text edit or any editor on your desktop. Click edit from the menu, select find and select find and replace. Enter a semi-colon into the Find What box. Enter a comma into the Replace With box. Click the replace all button. The file should now be updated. Save the file as a CSV. Please keep in mind that in order to follow these steps youll need access to a CSV file and notepad. If youre interested in changi
