hello my name is Josiah ray Im going to show you how to remove a hidden footer from Microsoft PowerPoint here I am inside of PowerPoint and Im going to come over to the insert tab of the ribbon and go over to header and footer Im just going to select the footer right now but Im going to leave it blank so Im going to say apply and it places the footer down here but Im going to Ive deselected it and moved into another another window but if I click on it here we come up to the drawing tools format youll notice theres no way to remove the footer like there is in word it just doesnt have the options however if you look closely youll notice that it has selected it like a regular object inside of PowerPoint what PowerPoint is done has not created a footer like it did in Word its just created a little box that looks like a footer I can actually grab this and move it anywhere I want to on the slide so its kind of like a pseudo footer to remove it all I have to do is push the Delete
