Office and Microsoft 365 users can now import data from a PDF to Excel using Power Query. This functionality has been available in PowerBI Desktop for a while. Power Query can locate data tables inside PDF documents for easy importing. Users can clean messy data using the Power Query transform tools before loading it into Excel or PowerBI. In this example, two tables from a PDF document are imported into Excel using the Data tab on the ribbon. The Navigator window shows a list of tables available for import.
