Add page numbers in Pages on iPhone Tap. Make sure Headers or Footers are turned on, then tap More Options at the bottom of the controls. In Document Setup, use two fingers to zoom, then tap the header or footer field where you want the page number to appear. Tap Page Numbers, then tap a numbering style.

How to Add Page Numbers to PDFs on Mobile Phone on iOS First, the iScanner app on your iPhone or iPad: iOS. Open the PDF in question in iScanner. Tap Text at the bottom of the screen. Within the text menu, tap Numbering. Choose one of the three available formats: 1, page 1, page 1 of X.
Go to Insert Page Numbers. Select a position (left, center, or right, and header or footer). Select Include Page Count to show total number of pages too, such as page 7 of 9.
In the Files app: Tap Files. Open a PDF file. Swipe from the left edge of the screen to the right to see the thumbnail page view. Select a page by pressing and holding on the page icon. Choose Rotate Left, Rotate Right, Insert Blank Page, Insert from File, or Scan Pages from the dropdown menu.
Answer Click on the Insert tab. Click on Page Number in the Header Footer group. Choose the location of page number (usually top of page). ​ The header will open and the page number is inserted. Your name and subsequent page numbers will now appear on all pages of your document.
Touch and hold the thumbnail of the page or section you want to move, then drag it to where you want it.
