Gary from MacMost.com introduces PDF annotation tools in Mac Preview, highlighting the difference between adding annotations and making actual changes to a PDF document. He recommends using the Markup Tools in Preview to add notes, editors notes, or text to a document, rather than directly modifying the content. For changes to content, it is advised to go back to the original source document in programs like Pages, Word, or InDesign, create a new version, and export it as a PDF. Preview on Mac is a valuable tool for viewing and annotating PDFs, offering a versatile and user-friendly interface.
