did you know that microsoft edge is a great simple pdf reader now dont get me wrong docHub reader especially the pro version is a very powerful pdf editor but for many tasks edge is quicker and simpler usually already open and it works better with pen and touch microsoft edge is the default pdf viewer in windows 10 and windows 11 so theres no need to anything extra simply find a pdf in the file explorer and double-click to open it in edge if you already have another program for pdfs like docHub reader then right-click on a pdf file select open with and then edge the pdf will now open in a new tab in edge with a pdf opening edge theres a new pdf toolbar this gives us some tools for viewing and changing simple things like zoom and page layout youll find zooming and scrolling the pdf works brilliantly with touch pinch to zoom in and out and scrolling is much smoother than on docHub but the fun stuff really happens with the pen and highlighter icons its super simple to mark up a

To clear all annotations from the document: Open the Annotations tab on the right. Tap Clear.
To select an annotation, use the Select tool under Tool Select or the Lasso tool under Tool Lasso Select. Click a single annotation in order to select it. Select multiple annotations in a rectangular area with the Select tool or circle multiple annotations to select all the annotations within the area with the Lasso.
To hide or show all annotations in a PDF, follow these steps: Open the PDF document you want to make edits with PDFgear. Access the Annotate menu in PDFgear and select an option like Show Annotations or Hide Annotations.
Right-click the PDF file and choose to open it with Microsoft Edge. Step2. Right-click the highlighted texts, then pick Highlight None to remove it. At last, click the Save button to preserve the PDF document without highlights.
If you want to delete only the annotations and markups, in Acrobat or docHub Reader, you can open the Comments List under the Comment pane, select the first comment, press CTRL+A to select all and then press Delete to delete them all.
In Microsoft Edge, select and hold (or, right-click) the icon of the extension you want to remove (to the right of your browser address bar). Select Remove from Microsoft Edge Remove.
Removing annotations View a page that has an annotation. Right-click on the annotation icon in the document, and click Remove Annotation. Save the changes to a new document by clicking the menu button in the top right, followed by Save As.
This might be belated, but in Preview you can go to Tools, Show Inspector. Click on the pencil icon all the way on the right to show the Annotations pane. Command + A to select all. Delete.
