Delete files or folders in OneDrive On your taskbar, select File Explorer. . Select your OneDrive folder, select the items you want to delete, and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Deleting Files from OneDrive For a single file, right click on it and select Delete. For multiple files, mouse over the file and left click the circle to check it. Check the files that you want to delete, and then click the delete button on the toolbar (near the top). Then confirm.
If youre using Microsoft 365, just open your account and go to the Documents section. Find the document you want to delete. Right-click it and choose Delete.
To keep your workspace free of unwanted files, follow these steps. To delete a document in Microsoft 365: locate it, select it, go to the top toolbar and click delete. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Confirm to delete the file. Itll go to your recycle bin. You can recover or permanently delete it from there.
Step 1: Open the Microsoft app on your Android device. Step 2: Tap the 3 dots of the file you want to delete. Step 3: Select delete option in the list. Step 4: Click Yes the files will be permanent delete. Step 2: Hold and select the files you want to delete. Step 3: Select the dustbin icon on top.
If the app and its files are taking up a lot of storage on your mobile device, follow these steps. Open the Android Settings app and select Applications. Scroll down and select OneDrive. Select Storage then select Clear data and Clear cache.
Make sure that youre signed into OneDrive with the correct account that has the necessary permissions to delete the files. If youre using the OneDrive app on your computer, try signing out and back in.
Delete files Tap and hold the file you want to delete. (To delete multiple files, after selecting a file, check the circles next to each additional file you want to delete). Note: You can only delete 200 files at a time. Tap More , then tap Delete . When asked to confirm your deletion, select Delete.
