You can quickly and easily delete a single file with the command rm followed by the file name. With the command rm followed by a file name, you can easily delete single files in Linux.
The sed command is a Linux utility that is used to perform text transformations on an input file. It can also be used to remove the first line of a text file. The sed command can be used to delete a specified line in a text file by using the d command.
To look at the last few lines of a file, use the tail command. tail works the same way as head: type tail and the filename to see the last 10 lines of that file, or type tail -number filename to see the last number lines of the file.
