hi friends welcome back to mule for series of learning videos i am shiva kamini an integration technical architect sometimes when we need a JSON as a string and we convert that into a string and then we see there are escaped characters because JSON contains fields within the double quote but the string cannot have double quote within double quotes so the system escapes the character the escape sequence so some and often we need it back into the original JSON format so we are going to see how to unescape those JSON string back to its original form lets get started so I have created a mule for application with a simple HTTP listener and data VIII and the data even contains payload so first lets see how we get the same payload as the output so lets come here so this is the resource path JSON to string so when we try we get the same input as the output so now yes I mean we have seen in the previous video of how to convert that JSON into string so lets do that so we use set variable an
