In this tutorial, learn how to remove a password from PDF files using docHub Reader. Open your PDF, enter the password, go to File, select Print, choose docHub PDF as your printer. Save the file as a normal PDF. To remove password, go to File, Properties, under Security, set to No Security. Save the changes. Leave a comment for questions.

Once you have it, follow these steps: Open Acrobat and open the PDF. Press Command-D to see security options, or click File Document Properties. Type in the password. Choose No Password from the dropdown menu where the password is used. Click OK, then OK again. Save the PDF.
Manage permissions for a PDF Changes take effect the next time the PDF is opened. In the Preview app on your Mac, open a PDF. Choose File Edit Permissions, then do any of the following: Set a password for opening the PDF: Select Require Password To Open Document.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open a PDF or image. Move the pointer next to the documents name in the title bar, click the arrow that appears, then select or deselect the Locked tickbox. Tip: To lock or unlock a file in the Finder, select the file, choose File Get Info, then select or deselect the Locked tickbox.
How to disable docHub Reader protected mode Open docHub Reader. Click Edit in the menu bar. Click Preferences. Click Security (Enhanced) of Categories. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode At Startup.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security.
Open Acrobat, click on File followed by Open and then, open the desired PDF file. Click on Properties switch to the Security tab. Now, besides the Security Method list, click on the Change Settings button. To remove all permissions from PDF, disable the Restrict editing and printing of the document.
How to remove password from PDF Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro on Windows or Mac. Choose Tools Encrypt Remove Security. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it. If the document has a permissions password, type the correct password in the Enter Password box and then click OK.
How to unlock a PDF to remove password security: Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security. Remove Security: The options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document.
