Open the video file, press Ctrl+P to go to the print option, select Microsoft print to PDF, select all, and click print. Save the file with a new name, open it, and the password is gone. It's a simple way to remove password protection from a video file.

Move the pointer next to the documents name in the title bar, click the arrow that appears, then select or unselect the Locked tick box. Tip: To lock or unlock a file in the Finder, select the file, choose File Get Info, then select or unselect the Locked tick box.
