In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove a password from PDF files using the docHub Reader application. Simply open your PDF, enter the password, go to File and select Print or use CTRL + P to choose docHub PDF as your printer. Save the file without password protection. Method 1 - Used if you have the password for the PDF file. Click File - Properties. Click the Security tab. Click Change Settings, enter the password. Select Security Method = No Security.
How to unlock a PDF to remove password security: Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner. Select Share, then choose Print and set the destination to Save as PDF. Click Save to remove the password.
What do I do after uploading the PDF to Google Drive? Right-click on the uploaded PDF file, select Open with Google Docs. This will open the PDF file in Google Docs, which will automatically remove the password protection.
How to disable docHub Reader protected mode Open docHub Reader. Click Edit in the menu bar. Click Preferences. Click Security (Enhanced) of Categories. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode At Startup.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security.
The primary purpose of locking a PDF is to prevent access to unauthorized personnel. If any password was applied to the PDF file by the owner of the PDF, then the password is required to open the PDF file and there is no workaround to remove the password from the PDF and open it if you dont remember the password.
How to remove password from PDF Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro on Windows or Mac. Choose Tools Encrypt Remove Security. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it. If the document has a permissions password, type the correct password in the Enter Password box and then click OK.
