How do I open a CSV file in Microsoft Excel without changing the column formatting? To open a comma-delimited (CSV) file properly, use Excels Data Import from Text feature to open the import wizard and set all columns as text.
Using Find and Replace Select the dataset. Click the Home tab. In the Editing group, click on the Find Replace option. Click on Replace. This will open the Find and Replace dialog box. In the Find what: field, enter , (a comma) Leave the Replace with: field empty. Click on Replace All button.
Click on Save As from the File or Windows Button menu in Excel then choose the Other Formats option and choose Unicode Text as the file type. Type a file name into the File Name box and click on Save. This will create a text file containing the data but with the CSV formatting stripped out.
On the Home tab, click the Dialog Box Launcher next to Number. On the Number tab, in the Category list, click Number. To display or hide the thousands separator, select or clear the Use 1000 Separator (,) check box.

Using the From Text feature in Excel Click the Data tab, then From Text. Select the CSV file that has the data clustered into one column. Select Delimited, then make sure the File Origin is Unicode UTF-8. Select Comma (this is Affinitys default list separator).
The fastest way to import images with CSV product import is to use web upload from public websites or file-sharing services like Dropbox, Google Drive and others. Alternatively, you can upload images directly from the local drive and link them to the product image field in CSV.
Now open Microsoft Excel, copy all names in a text file and paste them in excel sheet. Now save it with extension CSV(Comma delimited) in the folder(dataset) where you have folders containing images. Now remove text file from that folder and convert folder which we named dataset to zip file.
CSV is plain text, separated by commas. I repeat: plain text. This should give you a clue to what comes next Data saved in CSV will not retain data formatting.
